Christina took her first yoga class when she was in high school and absolutely hated it. The room was pitch black, she was sweating more than humanly possible, and extremely confused about the poses. Reluctantly, she decided to give it another shot many months later, and with continued practice, she fell in love with yoga. Finding a workout that exercised not just her body, but also her mind and soul at the same time was a game changer.

She kept practicing on and off as a hobby and a way to relieve stress until 2019 when she signed up for yoga teacher training. Christina never intended on teaching, she only wanted to deepen her practice and learn more about yoga philosophy, but she eventually realized teaching yoga is her passion and purpose in life. Christina believes that yoga creates a ripple effect of love in the world.

By impacting just one person while teaching, that person’s pain is alleviated, their mood is lifted, their stress is lessened. After class, they go out into the world feeling lighter, stronger, and happier. All of their interactions become more positive, and that positivity continues to spread to each person they encounter - and so on and so forth.

Christina loves everything that comes from this practice and truly cherishes getting to know her students and helping them connect with their bodies through breath and movement.
